Scott was at the center of Nike’s Digital Transformation from the start, playing an instrumental role in building and scaling their online business from a modest sub-$100M operation in the early 2000s, to a global powerhouse, surpassing $11B in revenue and earning recognition as one of the world's premier mono-brand online retailers.
Throughout his Nike tenure, Scott held a variety of key leadership positions, cultivating deep expertise across technology strategy, customer experience, digital product management, creative operations, online payments, risk management and policy governance. His operational leadership is marked by a strong focus on P&L optimization, driving domestic growth and spearheading international expansion. To unlock and sustain that growth, Scott shaped Nike’s global and regional organizational structures and refined cross-functional processes to achieve profitable scale without sacrificing the quality of the consumer experience.
Prior to Nike, Scott developed his early passion and acumen for Digital on the agency side of customer delivery during the “Dot Com Boom” of the late 1990s and early 2000s as Lead Strategist for Portland, Or firm, Opus Creative. In this role, Scott advised clients large and small on emerging digital strategies and customer experiences, serving brands such as Nike, Intel, Gardenburger, Hewlett-Packard, Hollywood Video, NETGEAR and more.
